It was SO hard. Can’t believe it was only 2 years ago. Seems like forever

When they sent my son home on March 17, 2019, our relationship plummeted. We yelled at each other all the time. He fired me as his teacher. I told him I’d given up on him as a student. My unrattleable husband was as optimistic about our mending our fences as a peace negotiator in the Middle East.
